Hospitals are transforming but need help from the state to address mental health challenges and the social determinants of health, hospital leaders said Wednesday.  The Hospital Transformation Review Committee heard from leaders of a safety net hospital, psychiatric hospital and a statewide health system at a meeting this week as they weigh how to support facilities transitioning to new models of care.
