Illinois ranks in the lower quarter of states when it comes to the health of its seniors, according to a new report from the United Health Foundation. The state ranked 38th in the nation, down two spots from rankings released last year. The report commended the state for having a high prevalence of seniors with a dedicated healthcare provider. It also had a high prevalence of adults describing themselves as able-bodied.
